Overview

Anapod CopyGear is a stand-alone Windows application that enables the transfer of music tracks, playlists, podcasts, photos, and videos from your iPod back to your PC. Anapod CopyGear takes advantage of our time-tested Anapod technology to provide fast, easy, and customizable iPod transfers and backups.

Here's a look at what Anapod CopyGear looks like in action.

Simply plug in your iPod, open Anapod CopyGear, and click 'Connect'. Anapod CopyGear displays the contents of your iPod in familiar Explorer style, by Podcasts, Playlists, Artists, Albums, Genres, Composers, Photos, and Videos. You can also search for specific tracks.

Under each artist, browse by all tracks by that artist, or by individual albums. Genres and Composers are also sub-organized by Artists and Albums as well.

Anapod CopyGear also displays your iPod photos, allowing you to select individual photos or whole albums to backup onto your PC.

Anapod CopyGear offers a number of options to customize exactly how music tracks will be copied back to your PC.

To begin a backup, simply select some number of tracks, artists, albums, genres, composers, or playlists, and click 'Backup Selected Items'. The transfer dialog summarizes what you have selected, allows you pause transfers, and also provides detailed progress information so you always know what is happening.
