Welcome to Notmad Arena, a service offered by Red Chair Software to the Nomad user community. Arena is a database of Nomad transfer performance collected from users like you. The aims of Arena are:

1. Offer a fun way to compare the performance of your precious little Nomad against other people's Nomads.
2. Provide genuinely useful information on optimal system configurations for maximizing performance and compatibility.

Want to pit your Nomad against the best of Notmad Arena?

The latest version of our Notmad Explorer software includes performance metrics in its file transfer system. After you transfer one or more files, Notmad will report the transfer rate that your Nomad and computer achieved. Next to the results is a button to automatically post your performance results to the online Arena database.

This feature is available in both the free trial version of Notmad Explorer as well as the full paid version. The full version will give a somewhat more accurate measurement, though, because it allows you to transfer more than one file at a time.
